Or use one of the Steelseries wireless headsets. Their dongles have a long usb cable so you can plug it in the back and place the dongle anywhere you like.

I use a usb extension hub for extra ports and this never fails.I have had issues with the heat in the USB ports in recent past.I keep my ps5 in the flat position not standing.this is because liquid metal can leak over time.I’ve used liquid metal I understand that Sony has decided to use it and that’s cool I actually used it on ps4 a few years back.so moven on to my point warning to all I have a ps5 disc model.I’ve opened my console and replaced all thermal pads better quality long story short if you modified or fixed any of Sony consoles.then you know.suggest taken the fan guard off also as this is for child protection they say it’s for dust catching well I clean my console every 6 months all my customers continue to use my method.no smoking around you console just don’t.heat kills and if you have any pets you should clean your console more often than 6 months.laying ps5 flat is best also because liquid metal can evenly spread over the amd chip.standing can cause uneven heat displacement and give artifacting or worse.ps5 flat gives you the other option when I’m gaming for hours on end i pop my top plate off.proved if you know to get 15-25 degrees cooler temperatures.I personally have the D-brand dark plates 2.0 with dust filters.3tb nvme with heat sink bang!

My ps5 never gets hot runs great.I keep room temp 64.throw the fan guards away and the nvme bay lid away.it’s trash over time heat kills electronics
If you want the truth Sony says ow ps5 is best standing No no no been saying that this is rong since day 1….lay it down it looks best standing up yes but Sony wants your money and don’t want their customers having their console last for years.as you think about it your like ow yes I get it now.Sony and Microsoft hates people like us.heating and cooling causes metal and plastic to shrink and expand.over time your gonna have that liquid metal leak.it’s been seen already and this is why Sony sends you a replacement console because the new model has a metal L shaped bracket that is for added pressure support to the pcb you see how manny screws Sony used to keep the pcb still.when the ps5 is flat the mother board has a natural dam that the liquid metal can’t get past.just as in the ps4 pro and ps4 I used liquid metal.funny all my customers have working console still to this day.2 years,3 years 4 years strong….do you remember science class I do here you have great advice in a comment section from some random video someone maid.happy to meet you hope this helps.your helping this throw away society if you don’t listen and don’t work to better understand things.I get Ritch off all of you who throw consoles away because your to busy to work on homework with ur kids so you buy them a ps4 extra.I have 6 ps5 I found in game stop dumpster last week they all work I have a balance take this and run learn how to hustle.

My dongle is slightly warped in due to the heat. I noticed one day since it literally felt smaller but that front port is too dangerous for me 😥

I’ve had mine since launch and plug it in the back so everything looks clean and uniform, and no problems here ( thank god😊🙏🏽 ) but that does make sense good looking out.
