Idk how i feel abt the blackshark v2. I got the upgraded version but everyone i play with still tells me it doesn’t sound as good or clear as my old corsair virtuoso. Also some games the sound quality is horrible no matter how much i mess with the synapses. Which sucks cause the virtuoso is so uncomfortable compared to the blackshark. But I’d rather sacrifice comfortability for performance.

Wow, you go to the headset mic and immediately audio quality drops massively. I mean… why not just use a normal set of headphones and a mic? I’m not seeing the argument tbh.

do not buy black shark v2 pro 2023

static noise, bricked audio, no changable earcups, very small earcups, clunky on headset settings (buttons) and bad sound for 249€.

i got 3 pairs, returned all 3 and all had this issue, even the last one with the latest firmware and drivers

I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY BLACKSHARK 2023

As someone who owns the Blackshark V2 Pro and the Kraken V3 Pro, I would give it to the Kraken as it sounds much better and has better directional audio for FPS games.

The only reason to get headset is ingame coms. Or parents sleeping next room. Decent speakers will be better and more comfortable. Also modmic exists.

Gaming headsets make no sense anymore; full stop.

Quality desktop mic + some mid range IEM’s. Takes a dump on wireless setups, has no batteries to deal with and the IEM’s are useful for more than just gaming. Anything with a soldered in battery basically has a lifespan of 3-4 years before it’s likely to be simply replaced by most people.

We should seek more longevity – especially from peripherals that are getting to the point where we should not need to be replacing them so frequently.

just bought the steelseries arctis pro wireless. I have to say, the software and user experience of these headphones is next. level. I’ll take this level of convenience and ease of use over a little bit of sound quality any day.

After going through 3 headphones and two keyboards….I’m done with Logitech. Their quality control is non existent
