Typing using Bose QC 45 it is hands down more comfortable than Sony 1000XM3 and NC 700 matching comfort of QC 35ii

Sony XM4 are trash ! bluetooth implementation is poor, ofthen disconnects from 2nd device, no sound in the headphone when call is incoming, adn just yesterday right speaker stopped working after 1.5 years of use :/ (thus started researching for a replacement)

I have question for whom every can answer. Based on experience, fact are observations. What would work better for someone who has hyperacusis. Noises and ambient noise is extremely a problem for me. Very painful at times. I have a noise canceling headphones, but isn’t good enough for me. Of with it on, it’s no different then not wearing them. Even with wearing earplugs I can still hear everything. Any suggestions on headphones to try. Would be extremely grateful. Thanks.

I upgraded from QC 35 II to QC 45 but the only thing that I liked and notice is a slight increase in the ANC and the Bluetooth range I like that about the 45 but I didn’t like the sensitivity of the microphones For making calls it cuts the outside noise but also make me sound like if I was inside of a cave talking on the phone while driving my semi truck under heavy outside noise and the QC 35 II does not do that it make my voice sound natural and minimum outside noise driving the same semi truck I would like to ask Bose to update firmware and fix the sensitivity of the microphones I know they can do better with this headphones, they did fix the problems that QC 35 II had after several firmware updates now QC 35 II are stable….

Love this! I use it for work using Teams, and they hear me very well. Working with my boyfriend just across the room, when were both on the call, i could barely hear him nor his music! I also love how i can connect with 2 devices at the same time 😀

I’m annoyed by the price BOSE is charging for replacement ear cups.
Per pair they charge ~35€.
Do ear cups of other brands last longer? I really like BOSE QC 35 for it’s comfort. I can wear these headphones all day without feeling any after like 8 hours.
But having to pay ~35€ every 1.5 years is pretty annoying…

Just arrived..they sound great…been using pads on the XM4s for over a year and on the Bose 700s…but the button stuff is convenient.

I have the Sennheiser 4.40BT how do these compare with this model are they better or on par? I don’t use defualt apps for sound but rather studio quality apps on my phone to produce the sound out, default sound is not the best, but still good for anyone not knowing the difference

I have tried every iteration of Sony’s flagship ANCs, and every one of them had disappointing call mics. I will keep trying them every iteration, hoping they will finally catch up to Bose 700, because I strongly prefer Sony’s sound quality.
Honestly, it mystifies me any time I hear people talk about sound quality on Bose QC45s or 700s as if they were even in the same ballpark as Sony’s. I’m not a fanboy, but Sony’s drivers just sound that much better to me. The 700s are pretty good when their EQ is dialed in though.
I use the Bose 700s for now because I need the best call mic noise cancellation I can get (without an annoying boom mic), and the 700s are magically good in this regard.

I have owned two Bose headphones as I like the comfort and noise cancelling BUT I won’t be buying any Bose again. The reason and it’s something which has a huge effect on a consumer buying a product is Bose customer service, have anything good wrong with them even in my case a small part of easily replaced plastic which broke just outside the warranty and I asked for a replacement part.. Nope Bose will not replace the part but offer a new pair of headphones at a reduced price!! My second one has just broken again so my time with Bose is complete. Once they improve the quality and learn some customer service skills I may return

Have Bose and Sony headphones. If you are on the London underground then definitely get the Sony and not the Bose. The Bose performs relatively poorly as a protection against the noise and under stress from the rail noise there is crackling from the headphones.

Yeah looking at my qc35 the headband is stained by sweat as I use them for floor sanding they’re really good at drowning out machine noise until a certain frequency. High frequency cutting overrides the noise cancelling its weirdly loud. Had them for a while they’re still working fine even after 100% volume alot

i read some review that bose qc15 has way better sound than the qc45 , only advance of the 45s is its wireless.
