QC45 is the cheapest put version of QC35 other than it has type c charger. It is better to buy Sony Wmx !
Bose litrelly shot themselves especially one of their hottest selling product.

For me and my gf WH-1000XM4 have to much of a clamp – according to Rtings the clamp on Bose QC 35/45 is lighter

I’ve had the QC35II for 5yrs and multiple hours per day..I can say my new QC45’s is a very nice upgrade the new 5.1 Bluetooth is awesome I can finally walk around my whole house listening to audio without having to carry my phone/tablet and I have a long house, the QC35II wouldn’t even go half that distance.

I do not like the touch pad on the Sony XM4, Bose has actual buttons that are small and very intuitive. Look at the ear cups on the Sony they are chunky ugly and not as comfortable when for example you lay down on a pillow. The Bose are slimmer so getting comfortable while head is on pillow or similar is much better with the Bose, also I noticed Sony XM4 likes to tilt forward so it feels like I have to adjust them often while the Bose you put them on and forget they are there.
I’m not a Bose fan boy I will use whatever is best and the QC45 is king for me at least.

I owned QC35, QC Earbuds, Apple Airpods Pro, QC45, and recently made the purchase on Sony’s the almost 2 years old 1000MX4 when it was on sale. Obviously, I care about the sound, the comfort, the ANC, and the look. The Sony is definitely the keeper. QC45 almost has too much treble and very little bass, and It is awful in windy environment. The MX4 is almost perfect in every aspect. I can’t pick up anything negative about it. Trust me, I am a picky user.

I’ve had the QC35 II’s which were great headphones but the XM4 had slightly better sound quality. Where both fall down is with call quality and I’m quite sure the QC45’s will be the same. That’s why I own the Bose NC700’s!

I have QC35ii for 3 years, when compared with sony XM4. Sony have wider stage sound, bass more rich, call mic little bit low sound. So far bose is more simple and comfort then dont need to make adjustment for equalizer. Bass not punchy as sony but solid bass. I do preffer took bose for sound quality and comfort

I wish Bose made NC headphones at 8oz minimum or lower. I am sad these are not very lightweight compared to the Bose QC35s.

Great objective review thank you very much. Had the 35 originals from new and my wife and two lads have the 35 ii. I love Bose BUT their app is so poor – struggles to connect multiple times and continually having to repair. When my 700’s work they are awesome but they do struggle with the app a lot.
