Have they fixed their crap firmware yet? I bought qc700s a few months ago as we’re on deep discount on Amazon uk but they had a periodic click/drop out every 10 seconds or so when connected to two devices and when I looked on their support forum this had been a bug for months so I returned them and went back to my qc35mk1 that are at least reliable. I ruled out the Sonys as they have terrible mics.

I genuinely can’t stand the bass bleed ox the XM4, made all the mids sound muddy and muffled, really happy with the qc45 tho, a lot more natural

I’ve had several Sony’s and Bose’s in the past, but from now on I’ll probably just stick with Bose. It might just be personal, but I feel like the Bose’s feel much more premium than the Sony’s who feel bulkier and more plasticky. A plastic part of the headband on my Wh-1000xm3 also cracked, so they are literally falling apart. Finally, but probably most importantly, I tend to wear my headphones for long periods (3 hr commute per day and often during flights) and the Bose’s just feel much more comfortable. I can wear the Bose’s during a transatlantic flight with no issues whatsoever, but with the Sony’s I have to take them off after about 2-3 hours because they get uncomfortable.

I have the bose 700’s. I got a great deal on them from Ebay. I did have the Sony xm1004s. However, I didn’t like the build quality. However, a better headphone case should take care of my concerns. I might get the xm1004s this Christmas. The Bose headphones are great. I like that the bose music app has EQ settings. If it weren’t for the EQ settings, my 700’s wouldn’t sound all that impressive.

More like time to ditch Bose. Bose QC35s were really good but there last two over ear releases are definitely a step back in the sonics department.

The Bose 700 are my favorite. The Qi 35 are just as good and not worth the upgrade unless your going to the 700
