do not buy turtle beach stealth 600 they are absolute garbage, I’ve had three pairs and they all started acted up around the same time, “bought one pair and warrantied them twice” literal ticking time bombs. They quit in the middle of the game and won’t connect till you literally hold then and inch for the receiver, if you can get them to connect at all. Along with a bunch of other small weird problems like your voice going extremely high pitch in party’s till you turn them off an on which would usually take around 10min because they never wanna reconnect. And this happened with every pair

The steel series mic sounded blown out in the video compared to even the Sony’s that were smooth and easy on the ears. Of course we are not on a true receiving end. LOL

I had Astro A50, I was playing in the night and then got to sleep. Next day in the morning they didn’t work. Bought the Steelseries Arctis Pro wirless and they stop working wirless, at 11 pm everyday they connect to the box, probably no one understand what i am saying since my English isn’t good.

I got Astro A40’s with the mix amp. It’s honestly not doing the headset justice to review it without including the mix amp. The mix amp is really what brings that headset to it’s maximum potential. I have 4 pre-set EQ’s for different games and I’ve heard sounds that most of my friends haven’t even heard.

Just about the 7p+ today, before I booted up a game of overwatch 2 I was talking to the wife with the set on and I couldn’t believe how clear her voice and mine came through while it cancelled everything else. Then I started a game and I heard my phone ring through the headset like it was a part of the game even though no other noise came along with it. Amazing tech. Highly recommend

The mic testing was honestly pretty scuffed if the guy on the other end was hearing exactly what the recording picked up. The steel series sounded pretty bad imo. The sibilance pick up was way to high and poppy. Could just be how he placed the mic in respect to his mouth. The Turtle Beach imo is the best of the bunch which is surprising considering its fixed position.

Yeah, the turtle beach 700’s were a disappointment for me, trying them on ps5 the superhuman hearing felt like a boost of the audio at max, and not more so boosting certain aspects.

What about the Lucid Sound LS40’s. They are pretty damn good, and comfortable to wear too and last a long time on a single charge.

9:19 wow those volume dials are a PAIN IN THE SOUL, i wear hoodies , spring season, whenever I turn my head sideways, it will ALWAYS rub against my clothes and lower the volume, first time i had it, I tought the headphones were faulty lol

I currently own turtle beach 700 gen 2 the sound and mic are just amazing the only thing that lets it down which as put me off owning another pair is issue were couldn’t power them on so had to attach them to PC only to do a full recovery its a shame they don’t make a Mac OS software to do the same but lets face it shouldn’t need to do a full recovery in the first place. The other annoying issue is the phone app which is so hard work to connecting them to the headset, after an update it wouldn’t connect to the app even though the headset was able to connect to my phones bluetoothwhy oh why turtle beach and this is not just me but read others have same issue. I would like to see companies with headset make console apps that can actually adjust the EQ from the console rather then just a phone app and wish companies would make them more Mac OS friendly.

Astro buyer BEWARE if you use the mixamp on ps5 then you know about the adapter you need to connect the optical cord to. THIS ADAPTER BOTTLENECKS YOUR RESOLUTION. Aka you cant get high than 1080p 120hz, so if you care about playing at 1440p 120hz like me, explore other headsets. Im trying the TB 700 max’s tomorrow, if theyre ass im splurging for the arctis nova pros

Arctis 7P+, definitely the best headset by far IMO. Once I changed the EQ settings… Wow. Must say I’ve owned a lot of Astros. My last wireless was the A50’s and I definitely like the 7P+ a lot better. If you own a PS5, the 7P+ is the way to go. And for the price it can’t be beat.
