FYI: For the Sony, you can adjust the level of ANC in the app. Just adjust the slider in “ambient sound mode” section. As you adjust the slider, the picture above the slider changes. This features is found on other Sony products as well (ie H910n). You can also turn on a “wind reduction” mode, which cuts the whistling noise you can hear when using ANC outdoors. For me, it works great!

Thank you for your review. The hair thing is totally a make it or break it for me. I had beats and my hair would always get stuck. It was super frustrating. A lot of the reviews are from men and they didn’t talk about it haha

I tried the my friend’s Sonys once (not this one, the previous XM3 one), the sound and the noise cancelling is amazing, but man they made my ears very hot and sweaty I couldn’t wear them more than 15 mins, but my friend said he never had this problem, so apparently it’s just me, seems like my ears gets hot easily, the Airpods Max are too expensive for me, but I don’t know I will have the same problem with the Bose, anyone have any recommendations for someone like me? I don’t mind wired headphones, but it has to be closed back because of the noisy area I live in.

I think you are the only reviewer so far (out of 8 comparisons) who said the AirPods Max didn’t sound the best during phone calls. To each their own, I guess.

had the sonys but i am an audiophile so the sound was too colored. Apples headphones are the closest to audiophile of the 3. However the Momentum 3 Sennys are even better. However the Sennys dont have the nice features of the Apples if you are fully in the apple ecosystem like I am. I wish apple allowed the headphones to extend just a little more for the bottom of my earlobes. Also would have preferred a fake leather earcup than the mesh material (for comfort).

U are not wrong the AirPods Max is Fantastic but it just weighs u down after about 45mins so what’s the point .. xm4s wins every time cos of the comfort
