If I could afford any of them, I’d go for the Sony WH-1000XM4 since they seem to be offering the most value for what you are paying(from a thoughtful design to the quality, the features and the BATTERY LIFE). Plus, I am an Apple hater…so yeah !!!!

I have both the Sony XM4 and AirPods Max. I love them both… but spatial audio for movies, and that quick switch between my apple devices constantly has me picking up the AirPods more than the XM4. However, When I need to travel, I’ll grab the XM4s without a second thought. They come with a real case for protection, and they are lighter.

I enjoyed this review as a blind person. I have the Bose and the AirPods Max and find the Bose is great for traveling because the AirPods are rather heavy when walking. The Sony set I had exhibited a popping sound in the right ear-cup, rather like an old record might click. I had to return them and never gave them another chance just in case the replacement set had the same problem. The features were very interesting though, especially the ability to use location as a means of changing the noise setting.

My personal favourite set at the minute is the Jabra 85h which shares some of the Sony’s ability to change sound profiles. They’re also water resistant which is ideal in the UK where rain’s so prominently common.

If you have a problem with the Airpods Max’s price, it’s not for you and you’re not the target customer. Stop crying about it and purchase what you can afford that will make you happy.

the sonys kill them all. Sorry nice try but the airpods and the bose are second best. Not sure about the price vs value stuff but when it comes to how they work the sonys are the best of breed

Have all 3 and AirPods Max are literally better in every single way except the Bose are more comfortable! There is just no comparison.

How’s the sony touch pad performance in cold weather or winter? I read that the xm3 suffers from random or unregistered touch in such condition.
