there are no decent headphones in the world thus far
Dude I love this Chanel
Thanks for this video! I spend a lot of time on reddits audiophile subreddit and this helped introduce me to some solid basics in selecting quality headphones.
i already watched this for 3 times
Philips SPH9500. The end.
(This is from someone who had spent almost $10,000 on headphones and gears in 10 years)
Audiophile vs studio monitor headphones. Video please
I’m an audiophile guy myself I was producing audio for many different things for like 10 years but stopped like 6 years ago. Now getting back into it and I’m trying to get at least a decent audiophile “type” of experience on Bluetooth ( I know it’s a sinful thing to say but no one appreciates audiophiles much in the phone world anymore) on my phone that doesn’t support audio jack. So I need to find something that can provide me a good balance that I can hear everything. Any suggestions? I would appreciate any suggestions you could offer.
It’s nice to see the hi-fi audio market developing again after 20 years of putting up with crappy sources like mp3 and the gear around it.
Can someone tell me where I can find that light?
We do have cybernetics that put sound directly in our brain. The cochlear implant. My grandpa was in the first 100 pepe to get it on k. The 9ps. It is amazing technology!
You really meant it when you said entry level, mid range, and high end.
I thought entry was going to be around 50-150. Mid around 250-700. High end 1000-1800
Whenever anyone asks me if I’m an audiophile I always say “WHO TOLD YOU?!?!” hahaha
This is a rabbit hole I don’t want to start.
I’m an audiophile….self proclaimed……I was a paradigm user for years…until I moved to a condo……neighbors are very quiet….
oneodio pro 80s are my favorite, simply because they have excellent fidelity for mixing and they also have 2 jacks, one for 3.5mm and another for 1.65mm, making monitoring two different sources, which can practically practically be used for anythng from jamming, mixing, watching TV, and of course listening to bad ass tunes
How sick is it that the Audeze LCD 2 or X have a max SPL > 130db?
Wouldn’t that be wayyy too loud for anyone?
I want to be one with the music. Surround sound. Take me away. What does this
man, I’ve been binging on the audio side of youtube and I finally came across a video that really knows their stuff. Cheers!
Finally another man who has to shave the entire front of his neck like I do. I stand with you in solidarity my brother. Also, great vid
Hey Joshua, I have a question for you and I am hoping that you can help me. I just received a Woojer Edge as a birthday present, but I don’t have any headphones. My question is, since the Woojer vest is going to be handling all of the signals below 200hz… is there a headphone that you would recommend that is going to be great with handling the range above 200hz that won’t cost me that much. I would prefer to spend $150 or less and I’m hoping that I can save money since I don’t need headphones that prioritize bass. Is there any models that you could recommend? The only requirement is that they need to be able to handle a wired connection via 3.5 mm.
