Sir i am in search of a headphone which can replace a home theater. So a headphone which will guve me the best movie watching experience
For me comfort has turned out to be the most important factor when choosing a headphone. I use them for 4-10h a day and would take a comfortable but bad sounding headphone over a good, uncomfortable one in a heartbeat.
This is actually one of the coolest videos i’ve seen, like ever. From the theme and sound of the transitions, to the very accessible information, everthing was perfect. I am a huge petrolhead, to the point i could cry seeing (and hearing, heh) some (many) of my dream cars, but in the end they are just cars. It is quite projectable to the audio world, because music can be emotionally very moving, especially hearing it in its purest form. In the end we are all just trying to apprechiate the beauty of music and forget all the gear. Also the filming was excellent in your video!
Maybe i should get into filming aswell..
Thank you!
It is a bit sad, as things work, most audiopholes are grown old men, with age degradation in ears 🙁 Imagine how some child audiophole could hear so much more.
The best video I’ve ever watched on audio . Well done.
I have some higher end headphones, but if you want a good fun cheaper headphone I can recommend audio technica 990z or 1000z’s. I have better headphones, but have bought the 900’s (used to be 900s) twice because they are such a fun headphone and are great for gaming. I still always use my senn’s 650s or 6xx’s for just watching vids or movies though. Get an amp even if it’s just a cheapo 100$ one. EDIT: I have been running all my headphones on tubes in the past 5 years or so and that is a whole other ballgame and pretty subjective, so just a disclaimer.
12:45… Cool AudazeS, which 1s r those????
I saw every minute. Amazing vid
My 3 Guidelines for newbies
#1 – More money does not mean more better (most of the time)
#2 – Learn/Know your preferences for music and sound signatures
#3 – Don’t fuss about how “high end” your gear is, buy stuff that offers the right balance of value propositions to you.
So helpfull video.
I am noob on this area, Any suggestions on where to get good quality music,
I am using a Fiio with balanced IEM and Spotify is not the best I cant get however it has the best integrations and search etc.
Great video
Could do without so much proximity effect, however
What would be the best headphones for metal music in that 200$ range? More specifically instrumental (like Metallica’s Orion for example) where distortion on electric guitar is dominant. My favorites (based on reviews) are dt 770/990 and hd560s. Any thoughts?
the dt 1990 pro is good. i have a 100€ headphone and i don´t know if it could be good. Where do you listen good cuality music, spotify premium is enough? sorry so many questions
I started with a pair of akg k240 and now I have the 6xx, 58x, m40x m50x, shp9500 and many more but remember you don’t need to start with a high end headphone work your way up I’m saving for a pair of hd800s and that’s my dream to plug them in and just enjoy them
22:36 yup. I get like 2 months of 6XX pads and they collapse beyond enjoyment
grado sr60x is the best low budget headphone for someone who doesnt wanna spend more than 100$. it will sound just as good, if not better, than most 300$ headphones
Just bought a set of Sennheiser PC 38X, my first ‘high end’ headphones other than Sony WF-1000XM4 earbuds. Not sure I’m all that happy with them. I mainly got them for online meetings but was hoping to use them as a regular music listening headphone. They just aren’t very comfortable – they’re a very tight fit and squeeze my head, pushing my ear lobes tight to my jawline. I found the sound to be pretty flat – nothing really exciting. Now, I will say most of my music is audio rips from YouTube videos with Any Video Converter so I imagine the range isn’t really there to make a difference.
When he said the 99s stood out to him I immediately looked at my Neo 99s and went hell yeah and then shared this to my friend with the 99 classics
Just a second, I have been shopping for a set of headphones since my wife and I started sharing a hobby room and I have been looking for something to use to just listen to music or produce my podcast. I have a slight disability (I have 3000hz deafness) so it takes some shopping around to find what I like. These audiophile headphone review videos are produced really really well and they are a pleasure just to listen to.
Hey guys I am not an audiophile by any means I recently bought a head set from steel series called 7P+. It has 10 eq sliders compared to its Predecessor only rocking six but the company claimed they are the exact same pair just have a newer charging port that isn’t mostly every new electronic now. I just need good advice on setting my eq for it because I had it tuned it pretty good at six sliders but that was because I had a immersive preset to start with and just slowly boost mids to get good footsteps while still Hearing a good immersive gameplay. Much appreciate any advice.
