I’ve been looking and reading consistently about planars lately, because it just sounds so appealing, so of course I’ve been looking at a lot of Hifiman stuff, mostly the 400SE, 4XX, HE4X I think it’s called, and the 5XX, so you know I’ve read a lot of quality complaints, along with people complaining about sound quality, which to me looks like mostly just people not knowing what they’re getting into. Then of course the Sundara, but the price tag on it is higher. Your talk and with the guy from Abyss have made me understand a good bit more, so thank you 🙂

Your presentation of the english language can initially trigger.. subjective.. reservations.. to, err, non audio people, but once you get past that, the actual content from all your videos, especially this one, is above and beyond. My dad finally gave me his vintage mint 1988 kenwood stack setup that I’ve always wanted. He gave me a Sennheiser headphone set along with it. At first I just assumed he ordered them for 15$ from a grandpa magazine but once I put them on and tried them out I knew they weren’t junk and actually were quality headphones. Now I’m over here getting educated on audiophile.

I’ve been into audio for a while now, but so far I’ve only tried some of the regular “big brand consumer headphones”. Quick question: would you recommend the X2HR for a beginner audiophile? I’m very interested in the amazing soundstage and I can get them for like $120 right now

My sony mdr zx110 has 24 ohms with a sensitivity of 100dbs is performing quieter than my cheaper earphones that i have used and i also found out that my cheaper earphones sounds more louder and even more better than that $20 headphones that I have bought, do u have any suggestions?
