I’ve been rocking the HD 6XX with a Little dot mark II for around 3 years now. I still get wow’ed by this combo almost daily. I adore them. I’m still a student but I’m eyeing the Elex as an upgrade in 1-2 years.

Great video as usual! What would be your best recommendation for the most accurate closed back ( i know, why not open, but i need them quite sense I mix at night) headphones in the $500 or below range for getting mixes that will transfer best to other systems and head phones? A few Ive looked into are the Austrian Audio Hi-X55, Byerdynamic 177x go, Neumann ndh20, but those all seem to have their own set of issues. Thank you! and keep up the great work!

A arte musical ,assim como toda arte (literária, cinematográfica, pictórica, arquitetênica, etc) tem dois lados….o de quem cria e o de quem aprecia. O fato é que existem diversos tipos de assinaturas musicais….e muitas vezes um fone high end de 2k que mal entrega graves (principalmente os eletrostáticos) vai soar terrivelmente ruim para alguém que aprecia Metal, Música eletronica e afins. Existe uma hiperbole quando tentam enfiar goela abaixo que existe diferença perceptível entre fones high end de fones de entrada ou mid end. A diferença “fria”, tecnica”, é claro que existe…..mas o prazer de ouvir música vai depender de fatores subjetivos, como que tipo de sonoridade agrada ao ouvinte. Prefiro pagar 100, no máximo 500 reais num bom fone em V, que tenha boa extensão e clareza em todo espectro, a qualquer fone high end que entregue essas características melhoradas….até pq, humanos não possuem sensibilidade auditiva como vários animais possuem, como cães, baleias, morcegos, etc……….
