What i still don’t get is sensitivity in planars. impedance is easy. Usually an amp list how much watt they output at a given impedance. But sensitivity, how do i determine what amp is appropriate for a given sensitivity? And i heard planars can go loud enough with cheap portable amp but it probably “won’t drive it properly”. Like, how do i know whether it’s properly driven or not? I mean it gets loud, it should be good right?

Please stop recommending the 1MORE Triple Driver . The company does not make it anymore. Mine broke and they gave me a gift card , but absolutely nothing else is good at 1more. Not happy I spent 175$ on those

Not true, cause when compared high ends they have 5htz – 40khtz frequency response. High Res audio is my favourite now, like the Sundara frequency response is ideal for me.
When I go back to Audio Technica m50x , it doesn’t have the big open sound as my Audio Technica msr7 ,cause they labelled Hires audio.Thank You.
Like the old dates 1080p TV is no difference to 4k TV, being told humans eyes can’t tell the differences which is not true again.

Always bugs me when people say things like “the ohms” (6:42). “Ohm” is the unit of measure. Like how “miles per hours” is the unit for speed in a car, or “degrees” is the unit of temperature for an oven. Or “pounds” for your weight.

No one would ask “what are the miles per hour you are going?”, they’d ask “what speed are you going?” And no one would ask “what are the degrees of the oven?”, they’d ask “how hot is the oven?” And definitely no one would ask “what pounds are you?”, they’d ask “how much do you weigh?”

mph -> speed
temperature -> degrees
weight -> pounds
impedance -> ohms

Thanks, done… I’ll finish being OCD over there.

Does sensitivity affect bluetooth headphones? I have the sony xm4s for convenience more than anything. They have a sensitivity rating of 105dB. Would that perhaps be the reason why people claim that they sound worse when wired – poor quality amplification?
