Fast charging only works when the battery isn’t very full. And besides, the faster the charge, the more strain it buts on the battery thus reducing how many cycles the battery has.
There is merit to charging slowly.

Okay so charging speeds are really important to me but two weeks ago I purchased and infinix zero and that thing quite literally charges from zero in like 15 minutes !
