Manufacturers want you to “upgrade” your already overpowered phone every 2-3 years. Faster charging means higher wattage, which means higher temperatures, which means shorter lifetime for your non-replaceable battery.

I charge my phone overnight, so either 5w or 120w doesn’t really matter (mostly). It matters maybe 1% of the time when I get caught without a powerbank for 2 days. I don’t wait for the battery to drain, I just plug it overnight when I’m not using it.

95 minutes is shit anyways, the OnePlus Nord (my phone) only takes 15 minutes and it has a longer charge and it’s a quarter of the price
