If you’re someone still on the fence about this, fast charging is a total game changer and 100% worth it. If nothing else, get one for your car. Being able to add 30 – 50% charge on the way to work or on a 15 minute break is a huge amount of stress you can remove from your day to day worries and a life changer if you’re a heavy phone user. Seriously, waking up to see that my phone didn’t actually get plugged in all the way and it’s on, like, 5% battery used to cause a huge amount of stress and could seriously ruin the first half of my day while I had to let my phone sit on a charger and go without music or podcasts at work that whole time. Now, it’s no problem. I pop it on the charger during my 40 minute drive and arrive with about 75 – 90% battery charge and zero worries. Also, if you have something like a Switch that won’t charge on anything except for the higher end fast chargers, then having one in the car is a nice-to-have if you’re ever on a trip.

Also, car chargers are almost always significantly cheaper because they don’t have to have all the AC to DC conversion stuff packed inside. So, if nothing else, get a fast charger for your car because that’s definitely where it’ll be most useful to most people, and it’s the cheapest way to test it out for yourself.
