I use 5w charger overnight cause I don’t need it to be fast and it doesn’t cause heat to the phone (which is bad) like a 12w or higher.

I use a 45W Samsung brick to charge my iPhone 🤣 I know iPhone maxes out at 25W but let’s face it, Samsung is king apple is queen. I’m probably gonna switch back to Samsung in a couple years

I mean, 1 hour and a half is still a long time to wait when other phones can charge way faster. Apple could do so much better here. Fast charging doesn’t have destroy batteries anymore with new tech and methods such as dual cell charging halfing speeds like 60w with 30w divided between two cells simultaneously reducing heat and degradation while obviously charging faster. Apple already have a dual cell design with the L-shaped batteries in their current devices so I don’t get why they are so hesitant.

I still use my 5w for charging my power brick because I can’t turn off its TURBO POWER CHARGING mode, so for battery health, I purposefully charge it on the tiny charger.
