If you want to test noise cancelling test in a dozer
The track clatter tricks the noise cancelling and it can’t keep up
I had skull candy and the Sony 1000
The Sony was unusable in a dozer even playing with the settings.
Skull candy was useable but had some popping from track clatter
Just bought the Bose 700’s hopefully they can handle what I will be putting them through the true test of noise cancelling
High pitch hydrolic noise
Track clatter
100 + decibel slasher spnning noise and saw cutting
Engine noise
Lexon safety glass low frequency vibrations (movement of plastic glass compressing and decompressing in and out) so cab is under a continuous flux of pressures. That will trick noise cancelling
Hoping the Bose can handle it
I dislike earplugs very much.

The reason I am returning my Airpods Max is…no off switch! My Sony TV aggressively connects to the headphones, which are always on, making my wife unable to watch her TV, and get angry at me

The AirPods Max is the ultimate over the ear headset, it strikes in literally everything. It may be overpriced. But its still amazing and better then any cheap plastic $250 dollar headset. Sony Headphones are only for people that can’t afford Apple.

I had the AirPods max for almost a month before I returned them and I have used Bose headphones for about 3 years. Here are the pros and cons of each.
AirPods Max
Pros:
Sound amazing, noise canceling if great, Transparency is top notch, and is amazing to use when watching movies.
seamless in playing and pausing your music when you put them on or take them off.
Comfortable to ware for most people
Removable ear pads
Apple

Cons:
The price. Once you pay fro taxes your paying $585 so almost a $600 dollar investment and for other headphones in that price range they don’t seem so amazing anymore. Oh and don’t forget that you will want to buy a silicone skin to protect it form getting scratched up or when the 2 pieces of aluminum collide with each other when you have them extended out not on your head or in their case.

You can not comfortably lay down with these on, they just slide down and they are bulky.

They get warm around your ears after a prolonged use or when you workout with them, makes my ears feel gross. Surprisingly not that uncomfortable too workout or run with, except the overheating of my ears.

Heavy. You really notice this when you turn your head with moderate speed. It shifts and you have to readjust it back in a comfortable passion. Speaking of readjusting, you are going to be doing that a lot because of the weight other these headphones. It’s bearable but is annoying sometime specially when you lay down with them on.

The sound sometimes will cut in and out repeatedly until i switch between different modes or take them off and put them back on. You would think that because it’s Apple and the fact they are almost $600 that this would be something you wouldn’t have to deal with. It could be mine were just faulty but i checked and found that i wasn’t the only one experiencing this. It didn’t happen a lot but when it did it was very frustrating.

And the biggest con for me at least other then the price is that it was not comfortable enough for me. The first time i used them it wasn’t bad but of a course of 4 hours i started to feel a slight pressure on my ears. Wearing them even longer gave me a slight headache. I thought they would be big enough for my ears but i guest not. Even though it was a small amount it still was pressing on my ears. I have struggled finding headphone that fit my massive ears and almost all had this problem for me. The only ones that didn’t were Bose headphones. Even their Bose QuietComfort 25 wired ones were more Comfortable then the AirPod Max. I value Comfort over sound quality, and the AirPods Max let me down in that department.

Bose Bose QuietComfort 25
Pros: Comfortable then any other headphones that i have tried. If you have the massive ears like me then this is like the only one for you, at least for its price.

Really lite. Don’t ever feel pressure on my head.

Sound is alright. By all means not bad sounding just not amazing.

Cons:
Noise canceling is terrible, and you have to use a battery which lasts 2 hours or so.
Feels cheaper but not Chinese cheap
Does warm the ears after prolonged use
Not easy to clean

If you find the Bose Bose QuietComfort 25 for $100 like me then it’s a steal. They sound as good as the Bose QuietComfort 35 same comfort but half the price. Yes it’s not wireless but if your planning to use it for desktop or laptop use then i works just fine.
Conclusion Don’t buy the AirPods Max if you are poor, Don’t have the AirPods or AirPods Pro already, have big ears, like to lay down when listening to music, want to have headphone with more uses then just sitting or standing. Hate it when your ears get hot, or not an Apple fanatic that buys everything Apple.
