The blinking to turn should be the opposite, as closing the left eye creates a blind spot on the left. But maybe you are just supposed to wink with one eye.
that woman’s kinda annoying
Control the world with your mind? Now that’s a good deal.
@sultanthewise that has been said about every technology. Computers were once heralded as tools to free man from mundane work and increase their spare time. We know that is not the case – if anything we are expected to produce even more with computers than we did before they were common.
These headsets won’t make people lazy, unless your sole definition of activity is physical.
Personally, I’d rather clean my home by telling machines what to do than to get on my hands and knees and scrub.
Technology has always been around since we started banging rocks together to create sharp edges. Technology doesn’t have to have electronics in it.
As the pencil is being outdated by the keyboard, so will the keyboard be outdated by another technology.
Those below that assume that we will just become lazier are not seeing the bigger picture and can go plant & harvest crops by hand instead of going to the corner store to buy their bread. Tech serves us. What u do with it is your choice.
@sultanthewise
laziness is the fountain of great minds
damn it why doesnt ted ever post up the Q&A sections…
absolutely amazing! This would be really great for people who are disabled or paralyzed!
i cannot believe there is a four minute commercial about a watch at the end… a watch!
@madman3891 because we don’t pay thousands of dollars a year to attend the conferences…
Talk about only being limited by your imagination! 😀
this is fucking awesome, the potential uses are limitless!!!
at the end with the guy in the wheelchair reminded me so much of stephen hawking ! i guess its based on the same idea ?
I can’t imagine what sort of people are clicking the “Dislike” button…
The idea is simply amazing!
awesome stuff. just hope we dont become like the people in wall-e
YOUR MOMS missed the like button, freaking frustrating the comments on youtube today, the new interface sucks and nobody wants to do something about it, how about a “auto-replay” button, or why only the green thumbs show up, I want to see the red ones too, how do I know when a comment it’s good or not???
“Thumbs up please” Also a stupid comment …
Once the “resolution” is better and faster, you can use it to store and recall arbitrary electronic memories (or actions) e.g. thinking “store”, then “PatternX” then”do it”, will store a current object that can be retrieved by “recall”, “PatternX” “do it”. or “quickrecall” “PatternX”. So virtual telepathy, telekinesis and “videographic” memory would be possible. A problem then would be restrictive Copyright Laws…
@lordashraf yeah what the fuck
@IWantSoundKnowledge
wtf lol. how u know she likes seafood?? xD
I can’t wait to see these in stores someday. I really hope that someone also develops a neuro-therapy application for use at home! So many people would seriously benefit from that including myself!
