I go to the Philippines several times a year, basically spend half my time there. I bring coffee from the US every time. No problems. Actually it’s nice because the bags of coffee I have are equiped with one-way air valves and at cruising altitude most of the air has escaped. Once we have landed, the bags of coffee are vacuum sealed bricks basically haha. Keeps them fresher longer imo

Excellent video and I don’t say this very often! Good information clearly presented with video and an excellent narrator!
I brought 11 lbs of Julius Meinl from Austria… no problems here.

I thought we are not allowed to place lithium powered devices in checked luggage.
Well, in Bali security officers would double check ur coffee pack. 😉
I implement on many of them 😊
That “aluminium foil thing” is a load of nonsense!
Thanks. However, not all these tips applies to every country on this planet. Roll the items, absolutely yes. Coffee – well , I don’t drink coffee…!
Lithium battery should be in your carry on not in the checked luggage. There are signs posted at the checkin counter and via airline carriers websites. They are considered dangerous/hazardous materials.
I carry all my electronics in my carry on. Powerbanks, laptops, camera batteries etc.
dig through your airline carriers website. The one I use for international flights allow a carryon bag plus a personal bag (no weight restrictions) so my laptop/electronics goes into a laptop bag considered as a personal bag.
5:22 like u think my charger is expesive than my new clothes and suitcase
Now anything with battery is not allowed in Check in baggage in India. That happened after Samsung It’s 7 catching fire
NO LITHIUM NO! We are not allowed to pack lithium ion batteries into our checked luggage. We are only allowed to take in our carry on. The reason being that checked baggage in the hold could have the lithium batteries start a fire and no one would be the wiser until it is far too late. It may not be ideal to have that lithium ion battery fire take place in the cabin instead, where there are special bags for containing such an event. If you follow this particular advice of the video, you will be putting yourself and all of the other passengers at risk.
Thank u, now i know.
Another informative video!👍
Sorry I pack the just incase items. Why? I already bought them, why buy them and waste your vacation budget? Plus if you buy just incase items where you gonna pack your souvenirs? I pack even with the just incase items in mind for souveniers
Can i put the liquor in big luggage (not carry on bag)
Oh, wow! TSA has cracked down on Lithium batteries packed in checked bags. Electric toothbrushes, electric razors, etc. They want them removed with the passenger moving them to carry-on. That can force someone to be removed from and perhaps miss the flight to take care of it.
The reason is simply that flight attendants now have what they need to react to and take care of a Li battery in a carry-on if it starts to catch fire. Not much anybody can do when it’s packed in a checked bag in the hold.
#2 seems incorrect — lithium ion batteries are not allowed in CHECKED luggage, so you must pack them in your carry-on bags — the pictures seem correct but the narration is wrong
