My travel bag is always pulled to the side and checked and then they’ll pull out a pack of wipes and I’m clueless as to why they check wipes! I use wipes to wipe my hands and face while on the plane and on the go before I get to my destination so I’m not sure why they’d check them all the time

As a 60+ year old man, I prefer to pack my fishnet stockings, pushup bras, corsets, thongs and stilettos in my carryon just in case my checked bag is lost or stolen! That way, I will have a “change of underwear”, and an extra pair of shoes for dinner!

5 years ago I took a couple 3 pounds bags of coffee in my suitcase. Didn’t have a problem. When I got home a friend sometimes smugglers pack drugs in coffee. Wow! On the trip back, without coffee, they did go through my luggage. They messed everything up. I found a note from TSA.😳

you got it mixed up, you’re not supposed to put anything with lithium batteries in checked baggage!! that’s why electronics like laptops and phones have to be carried on, what do you think their batteries are? they’re lithium🤦🏻‍♀️

I pack ground coffee all the time and have never been hassled. I do vacuum pack it.

Weird bunch of suggestions. I carry coffee beans often, no problem. Same with electric toothbrush. Never an issue with state of charge on my laptop on dozens of flights, domestic and to Europe. But I will say that if you have a nice carry-on with fragile looking wheels, don’t check it if you want it to survive.

Also make sure all items are legal to own in both point of departure and arrival as some countries have weird laws this also apples to firearms as every state has there own rules beyond tsa saying to declare it at check-in and having it in a locked hard case
