I think I’m gonna get it for my mountain adventure vlogs. Right now I’m always using my Nikon Z7 with Sigma 14-24 and it’s SOOO HEAVY to carry on the backpack strap while hiking for many hours uphill.
Image quality and cinematic look are quite impressive on this little camera! 🙂

The only thing I miss is to see it compared to the Osmo Pocket 1. I have that one and I think it’s mostly the same? Anyways very nice review Peter. I will stick to my Osmo Pocket 1 for now:)

Could you connect the joystick attachment to the original OP??… I’m thinking that is what I might do and get a GoPro 9 instead for my holiday… I absolutely love this new Pocket 2, but I’m in a pickle in wether to invest in this or GoPro 9.. I love that joystick function in particular

Seems like a good option for a starting vlogger/outside/inside blogger for stationary and moving footage. I don’t think anything in this price range can beat the camera quality and it’s better than iPhone pro, I guess

Thanks Peter! I’d be very interested in seeing what you can pump out with this new toy. It appeals to me for on-the-go spontaneous capturing. As a journalist, being bound to a mirrorless attached to a tripod majority of the time, capturing various angles of the story is a huge pain. I feel this could make the task so much more efficient. I like your idea of the “drone shot.” Owning the iFootage carbon fiber monopod and considered doing the exact same thing, using the phone app to control the camera. Congrats on 5M subs, well deserved.
