Hope to see a more in-depth video of you testing it out. Definitely interested in this to minimize my gear load into just a backpack, especially traveling between New Jersey and New York all the time this would be ideal!

I own the 1st version of this camera and it works really well for when you don’t want to be intrusive with a big lense pointing at someone. Although, I did find that my smartphone does a better job at manual control. HOWEVER, my mom was super impressed with it and bought one for herself and it has really made a difference for her (even though she has a Galaxy Note 20, which shoots in higher quality) – she has a hard time with keeping a big phone steady and her little Osmo Pocket is really simple to use. Just turn it on and go. I’ve shot music videos with this thing and they were OKAY. But for the price, it’s hard to argue and it’s a great little tool in my bag that I never use.

I wish Pete would have not been paid to do this video. It’s hard to believe that he didnt have and dislikes. The image looked soft and it was hunting for focus indoors. I could only imagine how bad the auto focus would be outside in a real vlogging situation

You should definitely test the c-stand/tripod extension to fake a drone since it globally becomes more difficult to fly drones. Would be highly interested to use it on lectures/excursions which can just be virtual these days. Working in Geosciences and actually, these times are hard for both the lecturer and the students. Nothing can substitute presence in the field. But I’ll try my best anyway. Pete, if you don’t need it, send it to me. Thx, I appreciate it! 😉

Love my pocket 1! Use it almost daily. The WiFi Mic on the 2 is sweet though
