Great review with real life shots taken by D7500. I must agree that second card slot is not a big deal for someone who does not shot weddings. One card slot was enough for me for ten years of using my D3000.

Upgrading from the D80! Any thoughts about the Z50? I have about 4 dx lenses already. Save mirrorless for the next gen and go with the 7500?

Excellent review and comparison. There wasn’t enough of a leap in the D7500 for me over the D7200 when I upgraded from the D7000. Went with a second hand D7200 due to price. Very happy with the results.

so its plastic and doesnt take a grip . hmmmm no good to me .. i beat my cameras up bad . the d7200 with matal grip , i have d850 with dollops of kit .. i shoot deer fox the usual brit wildlife .. af fine tunes on 7200 too . just dont like plastic crap for pro money , haha why does the frame rate matter .. if i shot at 3 fps id scare everything off in the area , my d850 shoots at 9 fps iv never used it !!! but im sure some tool will try and convince you you need it

Thanks Steve for the informational output of this Nikon D7500. I took it to my Photography Class and the folks in the class said to me that the camera felt like a toy; that’s like nothing that Nikon can build? I was quite pissed off at them but I am continuing to use the camera today and have no quarrels about the photo quality! These folks are 4/3rd’s Olympus minded individuals and are not a fanboy of Nikon like I am. Thank You for making me a happy camper.

This camera is very good. I do not care about only one card slot – it is no a big deal for me. Now I have to change my lenses because they are to slow and optically they cut off my new Nikon D7500. I recommend this body for anybody who want to have very good new DSLR.
