great video !! greetings from Chile 😉
still I think D7200 is better to have cox 2 card slots + 2 battery if you use vertical grip and the camera cost less money….and if you go for a expensive one chose D500…cox there are few things which is better then D7200 in D7500 so it is not worth to buy something you already have + you with lose that extra card slots and vertical grip battery… just for what???
Excellent and informative video well done
Superb review. Such a weird camera, some less of d7200, some less of d500. D500 costs more than d750. I read Nikon support for d7200 is ending (pls confirm), and d7500 has the legacy lens issue. What’s missing is a linear development. D7500 looks like it was designed by a politically correct committee. Personally, I regard the d7500 as a d7150.
I want to wedding photography.which camera is perfect for me d7500 or d7200?
Please halp me sir…from India
what a thorough review. super helpful, thank you!
With this video I don’t even need to read the manual ! Good job sir ! I own Nikon D7500
You have convinced me to keep my D7200 and D7000. Thanks.
The quiet mode sounds more like crickets.
Thanks sir for compare this amazing cameras
This thing is like $850 new right now. Mirrorless cameras give great opportunities, even without buying one of them 😉
Dear Steve, Angry photographer recommended your channel and he was totally right. Great videos, valuable opinions, Thank you!
BAD BUY, TYPICAL NIKON. D7200 can use AFP lens since firmware update.
2:50 resolution is same as d7200, 640×480 pixels. The dots are different, 3 color vs 4 color and 3/4 of 1.2 million is 922k so that is also exactly the same. That’s why you can’t see any difference. Great review.
19:45 since the d500 has no flash it’s actually worse in battery life because the other two are rated with half of the pictures taken with flash.
Steve is the best.
Great unbiased review Steve. I have the D810 but wanted a crop sensor camera for wildlife shooting and was undecided re the D7200 and 7500. I’ll be buying the D7500 soon, thanks again.
I recently just bought this Nikon D7500 after a decade long gone of my old trusty Nikon F5. I need a simple DX camera body to be used with old D lenses (the D500 or FX format ones were overkill), and besides I wouldn’t wanna break the bank. The Nikon D7500 hasn’t by far disappointed my work. It’s the most recent DX body with bunch of features. The only problem I found is that it won’t read the AI or non AI lenses; but like steve said, I can get around by using LIVE VIEW as previews. Love this camera and thanks to your great review Steve!
To all the D7200 users, please check for oil spots on the sensor shooting at f22,it’s well know as an oil spitter after 200-300 shots.I upgraded to the D7500 and cannot be more happier, with 2x32GB Sandisk Extreme Pro cards and a spare EN-EL15b battery, amazing camera for a non pro
You are the most accurate and to the point person I have ever know when it come to this..Wow you don’t sugar coat you are the truth.. I own the Nikon D7500 and love it….
