Hi Steve.
Thank you for a really solid review, It actually made me buy this camera and I could not be any happier with it!
Hi Steve, thanks again for a very thorough review of the D7500. Regarding the single SD memory card, is there a way to wirelessly backup the SD card images on a portable external hard drive so in case there’s a card failure? If so, what type of technology and hard drive is needed?
I am new to photography and planning to buy my first camera, For landscapes which one will be a better buy D7500 vs D750 ?
Great straight to the point review. Thank you. Very helpful for my equipment upgrade new options.
I’ve owned the D7500 for a few months now, and it’s fantastic. It was between this and the D500 and I went with the 7500 because my glass is lacking and I was able to save $1000 on the body to spend on glass. I don’t miss the vertical grip and second SD slot and my legacy glass works fine shooting in full Manual. This isn’t a pro camera so now backup SD is really needed.
gracias! great review!
Actually this video was very helpful for me. I bought my D7200 a few years back and now I know it still rocks. It was an upgrade from the D60 which I still love as a starter DSLR. I still use my D60 from time to time. But mostly my D7200.
Sir, which is best camera for general photography canon 80d or Nikon d7500 ,I will waiting for ur valuable replay ……………and please sujasted to me best budgetable lences
thank you sir
Terrific review and comparison. Thank you so much for your objective analysis of these 3 great cameras. PS you could also link to recommended SD cards in your video descriptions.
Great review man, you just got a new subscriber.
not for me, looks terrible
The new firmware for the D7200 now allows AFP lens to work.
Superb Review
Good video , But why is Nikon calling this a replacement from the the d7200 ? It is not . The nikon D7200 with the best expensive glass lens you can get will simply get oustanding Shots . If you simply what to upgrade this camera Nikon just needs to update the Software, increase the buffer size add 36 mega pixals also 4K Ultra video and a revoling screen . The dial button on the top left should be replaced with four buttons rather than fidlling with the round dial . The next Nikon Should be named D7900 .
Nikon has released updated firmware for both the D7200 and D7100 that fully supports AF-P lenses. This firmware was released in February 2018.
Excellent review BTW. I ended up buying a new D7200 for $800 to supplement my current D7100. I shoot mostly landscapes, but if I shot more action it would be a tough call between the D500 and D7500.
great video!
Excellent! Thank you!
I liked your video a lot. Very informative. Thank you.
That being said, please help me create a better world by eliminating the phrase “on accident”… 🙂
Steve thanks for another great review. I currently have a D7000 and have been looking to upgrade to a D7200 or D7500. I have been leaning towards the D7200 mainly because some of my best lenses are AI and take beautiful photos. I mainly photograph wildlife and landscape and the D7000 has served me well thanks to your ebooks on photography…excellent references. Before watching your review of the D7500, I was unaware that there is work around for my AI lenses, so it has made my decision even harder. Thanks again for you great reviews and ebooks.
I just ordered the d5600 for real estate , bh had a killer deal I couldn’t refuse. .My question is it has the same sensor as the d7500 correct? And what is your thoughts if all any on the 5600. It was just in my price range and had all the options I needed
