I have a T7 or actually a 2000d to be exact with a 50mm 1.8 lens. Love it except I wish it had eye autofocus.

Don’t buy it. 3fps is bad and the autofocus is just as bad as well. Just buy a Zve10. Better overall.

I have NO idea why this piece of CRAP is so popular in 2023
There are older cameras that are better. This is not worth the price. They try to bundle it with other pieces of CRAP. The lenses are the only thing worth anything and they are bottom basement. Only thing is good for is a glorified webcam.

This video might have just changed my mind on what camera to get. I was going to get the m50 because its newer and more compact. But I am only doing photos so I really don’t need the nicer vireo on the m50. And they have the same sensor anyway so I might go with this camera instead which also saves me some money for a nice lens

Could you suggest me a dslr/mirrorless somewhere around 600-700$ ish with lens kit ofcourse where i can do a little bit if everything since i am a beginner,but mostly i am interested in portaits that offers a creamy background and sometimes bird photography with a creamy background not too far from my end.

I purchased a T7 with 18-55 and 75-300 kit lenses for just under $600 about a year ago and Tech Through The Lens was one of the 1st places I found that really helped me figure out how to make it work (thank you for that). I mainly shoot wildlife and I am by no means a professional, but I don’t completely agree that it’s not that great for sports or wildlife. It’s true that 3fps isn’t all that fast but that only limits the number of photos not the quality. The shutter speed and auto focus are more than capable of getting pretty decent pictures. I have also recently upgraded my lens options with a Sigma 150-600 zoom lens and it works great with the T7.

Thanks. Its OK to ignore haters. Buy what you can afford. I know there are canon camera haters. This is a good camera imo. Great photos are done by great photographers – not expensive cameras.

I want to buy my first camera just for hobbie without spending a lot of money, and the options I’ve are the 1200D (T6) and 2000D (T7) they’re like 100 eur difference on the price! Which one you reccomend me to start learning photography?
