@ZeroTwoTwo Yes, yes they are. The only thing different is the name. Have no idea why Canon decided to name all of their cameras with 3 names.

@ZeroTwoTwo No problem. I’m an American, but I live in Tokyo. I have checked the cameras back and forth several times to make sure they’re the same before I buy the Kiss X5 here instead of the T3i in the states. Haha

Yes but you can switch from Japanese to other languages. It might help (be quicker to locate the option) if you had a Japanese language reading friend to do that though of course.

If you are going to Japan then the Kiss X5 may be cheaper in Japan than the 600D seems to be in Europe. Not sure about the price of the Rebel version in the USA. Language software may be limited to English & Japanese only on the Kiss X5, whereas the European 600D has a whole bunch of languages.

ok but.. Which one was first in factory..!? and will be nice to know if how many ubgrades they was have in factory betwen T3i D600 and Kiss5.. new machine new technology = quality can be better..even on the `same` camera..after use T3i and now D600 i knwo they have diference

check this out..canbe diference…on T3i i was have 1.0.1 factory firmware.. on D600 was 1.0.2 ..both new. so T3i looks like its older model by Firmware..it can mean somethink..maybe they use better quality tools for D600 or software even same is with less bugs.. or D600 better accept changes what can be done in camer.i dont knwo but for this canon need give answer
