Lol I just went out and bought a Canon Rebel T1i I can not seem to figure out how to use the video recording mode.. I guess I need a “Digital Photography for dummies book” lol

I guess he used the auto focus with a USM lens, with the kit lens the AF is very noisy. I have my 500D since last week and i’m very overall pleased with the quality, either pictures or movies (using the manual focus then)….will buy a 2nd lens with USM soon….

Against the facts there are no arguments, the results speak for themselves. T1 is the best. Just put a better lens than the kit and will be ready for any situation.

haha nice i have one of this, theres a trick for 500d to get high aperature (through out shooting) for movie shooting. Look up google “how to trick 500d” something like that, it works.

just hope that in the future they’ll release a firmware for more ‘manual’ settings for movie shooting though.

20fps at 1080p, 30fps at 720p. Good enough for a dslr.

Incredible picture, another world like compared to the S5 I’ve used. Thanks for the show. These sorts of images are motivating me to retire my 35mm SLR Elan II. Pretty sure I’ll be able to use the lenses, though not IS versions.

holy cow.
this video is AMAZING.
Combine interchangable lenses, REAL manual focus, 3 inch screen… there is no camcorder at the price of this SLR that can even come close.
