Thank you for this great video. It helped me a lot getting an overview of the settings!
thanks for sharing! i just bought my first camera and this video really helped me to know how to deal with this!! i’m excited to start :)))
Your video sounds really good! Thanks from Brazil.
Hi, excellent video series, just bought a 500 along with a battery grip for a crazy low price in mint condition, to be honest, I’m a bit of a Canon 35mil slr collector, I now have several, with the Canon 50e (Elan) being my favourite. And yes I’m going to start using them, film ordered and I can’t wait to get going. Many thanks, best wishes for 2021.
What type of film is needed for this slr? My dad bought this some 9 years ago, and I’m usi g tt now, but I’m going through videos
Hi, is there any way to turn off the auto flash? There are some cases where I don’t need it but it goes anyways
is there a way to use a timer?
I bought this camera back in 1995 as my first one. I was the happiest person in the world then. I still have it as something to remind me my youth.
Thanks for this video! It is really helpful.
I have he same camera and just got it batteries. The functions seem to be working perfectly fine. However, the back door doesn’t close. I was thinking of taping it with some black tape and go ahead shooting. Given the the functions and it being an automatic camera, do you think it could work? Thanks again for sharing this content!
Hi! Do you know what’s the difference between the regular eos500 and the eos500 N?
Thanks!!
ahh I’ve been wanting to try out film and was so lost looking through film cameras to buy! eventually I thought I would take a chance on the EOS Kiss and came across your video before I bought it! So excited to try it out and look forward to coming back to the video once I do 🙂
Thanks for the very informative video. I’m getting an EOS 500 and this video series was very helpful!
Thank you, very good instructional video on the camera.
how do you extract the photos?
There’s a version of this called the Eos kiss and there’s panorama written on the bottom right of the camera. Is it a legit panorama camera or just a gimmick like other cameras that crop the film size? I’d like to know before I get one and there doesn’t seem to be any review about this
bought one of these exclusively to have a 35mm camera with a double exposure feature
Hi, thanks for a great helpful video. I have one of these but found my sigma art 50mm and 85mm both make the camera freeze up and it wont take a pic. I wondered if you know if this would happen with the higher end Eos film cameras too. I was temped by an Eos 3 but for that I’d really want to use those sigma art lenses with it. Any advice if you have it would be ace. Thanks, till then I’m enjoying the Eos 500 as a fun lightweight film camera with my old nifty 50
Can I use a modern Canon compatible speedlight on this old camera?
Thank you for both videos. I have a Canon Kiss Panoramic, and I haven’t found any videos or instructions how to do a panoramic shot. I have a Canon DSLR, but I wanted to get back into shooting 35MM film so I bought this model and I’d like to figure out how to shoot panoramic shots. Any suggestions?
