Hi paul, i really enjoyed watching this video, it will really help a lot of photographers. This is a great Topic and one that’s not talked about very much in photography. When i’m using live view i like to use manual focus, i feel more confident in using manual focus. You will save on time instead of changing the settings in the viewfinder then switch back to liveview. Just learning making little changes here and there make a big difference, Thanks for sharing this great video.

Hi Paul, another interesting video, thanks for sharing .. for any Nikon newbies, the equivalent of the Q button when in live view on Canon is the “i” button to enable you to get to your settings.

Thanks for the helpful info! I think my Canon is a T5i (I have gaffers tape over all the names). Man, I can’t wait until I can afford to get a mirrorless camera. For years, it was Sony, all the way! But there are a few others now just as good, or possibly even better – I haven’t followed them all that closely. I won a Panasonic Lumix camera on YouTube, but I had to sell it. Loved it while I had it. Mirrorless has so many awesome features!

Paul I have a question for you

Can you please make a video with an intervalometer
Apparently since I’ve had mine for a year and a quarter I went to go use it again after changing batteries I forgot how to work the damn thing with my Pentax K-70
Because I was using 2 10 stop filters and I know I needed approximately 15 to 22 minutes maybe slightly more in bulb mode but nothing is working

Great video and great tips. Something I wish I took the time to do is establish muscle memory with regards to the camera’s controls and settings. Just as an aside, are you a fan of The Who or were you in the RAF?😁 Keep up the good work Paul. All the best.
