He knew were on the chase so stayed away Robert 🤣 He only comes out when you’ve not got the camera ! Still great to get outside – I’ve not managed a trip out (with the camera) this year yet !! Good tip on the settings to ensure you don’t miss a shot too – Thanks for sharing and good luck next time !
Very nice video!
Excellent photographs.
Free birds.
Today i went to the zoo .
Saw birds all in a cqge.
What a pity.
I will apload them soon
What variety of apple were you eating? It looked delicious!
Your very good at the bird photography. Something I have never tried. Nice video.
Simply amazing views.. thank you
Nice video and lovely bird shots. The construction of this man made lake is one of the best things that ever happened in this area. Testified by the huge numbers of people who walk it every day. Surprisingly the Kingfishers are quite tame when present and are unusually tolerant of people. Can’t wait to see your shots when you get them 😎😎
Great pics Robert. As you say you can’t dictate when the wildlife will turn up, it’s just a case of turning out often and hopefully getting the shot.
Great vid again Robert, I Love the fact your giving me insight into my local area with your vlogs & i will certainly be kingfisher hunting there in the not too distant future. Do you ever shoot in or around the shelter/bird hide just off the path overlooking the nature reserve, when i’m out walking the dog, there is a tree stump there to the left as your sat inside that i’ve seen people add food to & they’ve had some great close up images from there if you wait ready focused & are quick enough. Also do you ever shoot at the RSPB down the road? (all closed at the moment) If so is it any good? do they have hides for photographers. Any info about where’s best to shoot at the RSPB would be appreciated if you have any? ready for when it reopens.
All the best with upcoming vlogs & here’s hoping to learn more about my local area.
Sorry you didn’t get to spot the Kingfisher again, Robert. But at least you got some great shots of other birds. I really liked the orange and blue ones. They were a pop of colour in a gloomy weather
Really touched by your gesture of replying to every comment🙏🙏🙏
Love the shot of the robin at 5:56 mate, just as your said, the height/level of the bird really made a difference with that shot, the background is great. I learned a thing or two – thanks for sharing Rob. Shame about the Kingfisher, but your last shot was great. Are Kingfishers quite rare birds there?
Great video Robert! Loved the ducks hots at the beginning especially the one with the duck butt up in the air! Looks absolutely frigid there right now. Too bad about not spotting the elusive Kingfisher though. I’ve watched a few different photographers who are on the hunt for that bird right now! Lovely wildlife shots throughout this video Robert, really well done. Loved the look around the area too. Hope you are doing well and staying safe!
Talk to some (fly-)fishers if you meet some on the way. They most know where kingfishers hunting periodic (and alot of other animals too) along the stream.
Great video Rob, still got a great shot of the kingfisher you showed at the start. How do you find 300mm as a focal length? I shoot crop sensor and find 300mm still isn’t enough unless the subject is right in front of me. I’m thinking to get a sigma lens 150 to 600mm maybe…
Thanks Robert, I noticed your comment about “kingfishers” on my vlog, Great Vlog and Wonderful images, Thanks for sharing
kingfishers are the best! was stoked when i saw one on a local video adventure. ours are definetly a little less colorful than your variety lol. but a fun to see not the less.
Cool video!! I love my d7500! Alot of people put it down but it’s the most underrated camera made!!
Nyc work keep it up 👍 beautiful nature
Hi Robert, no Kingfishers but you came back with beautiful photos anyway. I like the pictures at 3:35 and 4:55 a lot.
Cheers, stay healthy 😉
