Many people tend to compare Ohtani and Judge. They are the best 2 players of the league, and right now at this moment, I think that Judge deserves the MVP. However, I am a huge, huge Ohtani fan, as a Japanese. Instead of just comparing, we should be grateful of seeing these talents, because we may never see great players like these two in the rest of our lives. My dream right now is to see Ohtani play (both pitch and bat) in the play offs and eventually win the world series.

Shohei ohtani is leaving the angels after next season without a doubt.. the angels can either get nothing for him .. or do what they should have done long ago and rebuild. I could see Andrew Friedman giving the angels a monster haul for ohtani for a few reasons, your basically getting a 2 for 1 star hitter/ pitcher and he brings so much money to your organization because his popularity including an entire county. Now imagine that combined with a brand like the dodgers.. I could totally see the dodgers offering

Dustin may OR Tony gonsolin along with like 4 of their top 6 prospects and a few lower ones.. the dodgers farm is one of the best and deep so that could set the angels up so well to be competitive within 2-3 years

Why was ohtani so fucken stupid when picking a teams worrying about small market/teams with no Japanese player history… he could have been a dodger, imagine his name mixed with the dodger brand he’d be 10x more popular than he already is

Is it weird after all this torture deep down I still want Shohei to get a ring together with his teammates on the Angels. Of course I know he should be playing for a different team but I still love the Angels and the players, and I keep fantasising they make playoffs while Shohei’s still with them
