Of course, I’m rooting for Shohei and for the Angels that has been only team to allow him to play both. But AL MVP should go to Aaron Judge with his current pace. I don’t deny Aaron on contender team deserves more than Shohei.
Aaron will more likely be best this season.
Shohei is a unicorn and all star level player on both pitching and hitting, but not best on either.Just saying.

I don’t think you should talk about this player with MVP anymore! Yankees 4th batter could be MVP for sure! Then, how should I name the best player for throwing and hitting? I have little knowledge of baseball, so I would appreciate it if someone with knowledge could teach me!

I hope to see Shohei smile again. He’s deserving to be on a contender, or if miraculously, Angels pull off a 15-20 win streak, and finish out with almost no losses rest of the way, which I don’t think it will happen that easily.

I noticed so many people saying he’s unhappy after hitting a home run because of his team. but I think it’s wrong because I think he was so determined to win this game and he was really serious about it. that’s why he didn’t show a smile.
the look on his face was the determination not the unhappiness or sadness
