大谷の成長が見られる動画

純粋な4SFBとスプリッターの三振が少なくなっている
スラーブや12-6カーブ、ハードシンカーなどが身についたことで、多彩な球種で三振を取れるようになった

J. アルトゥーべの打席で、解説が「彼はあんなに簡単に打ち取れるバッターではない、大谷の球種に全く合っていないんだ」って言っている通り、速球派からさらに成長している

To me, the MVP award is the player most valuable to his team. We judge team success by winning. By this measure, Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani are not MVP’s except for the 2014 season when the Angels made the playoffs the only time in Trout’s career.

The only reason ohtani maybe not gonna win mvp because of the Angels. Just imagine Ohtani playing for Yankees this season with Judge, For sure Ohtani win by miles ahead.

@Glenn Morris…Ruth’s accomplishments are well documented. Ohtani hasn’t been around long enough to compare him to the Greatest Ballplayer in the history of the game. Ruth won more than ninety games in his pitching career with a 2.28 era . He pitched against more Hall of Fame players than Shohei will ever see . One of his greatest accomplishments pitching is still intact to this day. Ruth owns the longest complete game pitched in postseason, a fourteen inning complete game 2 to 1 victory over Brooklyn . No need to say anything about his hitting ,you know his lifetime batting average of .342 , 714 home runs and 2200 RBIs. What I’m really trying to say is that Shohei couldn’t carry Babe Ruths jock strap.

At this point, my brain refuses understanding what’s going on with this man. Though his batting is clearly worse than 2021, his fWAR is 9.3 already. And he makes 1 extra roster spot.

The most talented baseball player ever, imo.

I wonder why no other elite players try 2way. Ohtani is a extremely talented and truly special existence, but I think there are more who can make it. And most importantly, little league-like 2way possibly brings big fun to players themselves.
Wanna see more in the near future.
