Should Shohei Ohtani win MVP over Aaron Judge this year?
Sho gold glove!
I couldn’t agree more. Ohtani is the MVP! Had Judge hit 74 HRs, I’d give it to him.
Ohtani has 15% of his team’s wins with a 15-9 record. Jacob DeGrom couldn’t win 10 games for the LAA at his best. What Ohtani is doing is unparalleled excellence.
If Judge had hit .400 with 80 home runs he would have won. Otherwise it is Ohtani.
Damn, didn’t see that one coming !
Thanks to them, we can have such a fun discussion. Let’s enjoy the mvp race!!
Thank you for recognizing SHOHEI’s talent all year, Ben!! He most definitely deserves the MVP! ♥️. Please tell me you have another show to host because I don’t want to wait until spring training to see you again!!
I agree completely. But I don’t think he’s going to win again. Too many people against him winning every year if he continues to perform like this.
Remember last season when he was hr leader with 8 wins. People still argue Vlady Jr was mvp. These same people haven’t gone anywhere. In fact, they have grown. And the writers don’t want to go against the masses.
Thank you Ben! There’s no west coast bias in your pick…if you’re 30 years old and younger, you’ve seen what Judge did this season from 4 other players. If you’re 80 years old and younger, this is the first time in your lifetime seeing Ohtani did what’s never been done before by any player in history!
I read an article about Bryce Eldridge, a two-way player for the U-18 U.S. National Team. Can this young man surpass Ohtani? I can’t wait to see.
Ohtani reached the prescribed number of pitches and at bats this season. He has completely proven that he can play 2-way at the MLB level.
There was no road in front of Ohtani, but a road was made behind him.
Judge needs to pitch like an ace also if he have a chance.
Shohei doesn’t need this MVP to justify his value. Players usually have to choose either pitching or position, because nobody has done both at the same time. Shohei has proved that it’s possible even at the highest level.
I totally agree with you because I’ve been following your channel but I wonder how many voters have been listening to you.
もったいぶらず一瞬で発表wwwww ベンさん そういうことなんです!!
i would join you guys in giving the a.l. mvp vote to s.ohtani just based on the adversity this player from japan has faced all season for the second year running. when on the bump, he gets virtually no offensive support backed by an anemic hitting club, and when he bats he gets no fkn looks. his final at bat during the most meaningless final game of the year, underlining the word meaningless again, last place athletics called a time out for a seemingly hour long pitching change to bring in a lefty specialist -are you kidding me?? putting the already sparse crowd to sleep. i’ve watched baseball for over 60 years and if the ratings are tanking, this is b/c it’s killing itself. so even teams in september not competing for post season, ohtani gets nothing to hit, or specialists or gets int walked. thank god for football season
Shohei is baseball’s most popular player by far. Now go back to All Star Game and watch player’s waiting to get their picture taken with him. Also at All Star game, look at press lining up to get batting practice footage for their viewers.
Saw a headline yesterday: SHOHEI OHTANI MADE HISTORY WITH…
More correct headline:
SHOHEI OHTANI CREATED MORE HISTORY.
Thanks Ben for your passion for something us baseball fans may never see again.🦄
I am very happy that there are many supporters to cheer him up and No worries Shohei will do best next year
I also support him from across the Pacific Ocean, Japan next season
I don’t think the world cares if Judge hits 100 home runs. I don’t think people start watching baseball because Judge hits 65 home runs.
