I love Ohtani but he really needs to cut down on his sweeper usage. He uses a different arm angle so when he throws that pitch a lot, hitters can sit on the pitch. I wish he’d mix in that nasty sinker, splitter and cutter a bit more to throw off batters. 🤞because this won’t fly against the Astros. Ohtani’s biggest strength is adjusting so I’m sure he’ll be alright next outing.

Of course people that are not Angels fans want to see him traded. Always exciting to see stars go to another team. But what bugs me is the number of Angel fans and from reading social media post and comments, there are a lot of them that don’t mind seeing Ohtani traded. Insane! He’s not just any star, he’s once in a lifetime star. I don’t care about the excuses about not wanting to lose him for nothing, you take that chance with someone like Shohei. You make it top priority to resign him.
