If only trout and rendon had the work ethic of Ohtani. Not only is Ohtani the hardest working man in baseball, playing two positions as a star pitcher and hitter, but he always playing his heart out and not missing games like these good-for-nothing sideliners. Angels don’t deserve him.

Advantages of Ohtani getting traded. #1. He will get additional wins against the Angels. #2.He will get additional hits & homeruns against the Angels. #3. He will take off his hands supporting the whole team, which will lead to better performances.

Teams understand that Angels have no real intention to move Ohtani RIGHT NOW. Therefore, teams are not making real offers to them. It’s a feeling out process for everyone. Before teams make their final offers and literally “give away the farm”, they better be certain Ohtani really wants to play for them for the long term. Otherwise, he will just end up as a very expensive rental and leave when he enters free agency.

Angels are in a mid-market franchise diluted by the Dodgers & the A’s. The Angels’s front office sucks, imho. There’s a bean counter + “coaches” that overthink the numbers and screw with basic mechanics.

When can Shohei use free agency?

Shohei is a spectacle. Seattle might be good due to the dome and a clustering of wealth.

Wouldn’t trade Trout because he’s a future hall of famer? You mean because he has a no trade clause and you can’t trade him. He’s constantly on the IL and now has a permanent condition he needs to care for. Also, Ohtani is younger and brings SO MUCH money in ticket sales, jerseys, and sponsorships. He brings in about 8 times his pay in just endorsements and sponsorships.
