I️ use the face tracking for my music videos it helps get amazing shots
Gimbals are so boring… everybody use this “schmok”, everybody have the same image, nobody think out the box, nobody know film by himself…
& the worst : you have to change your DJI schmok every single year !
Was this in Kihei
I’ll probably be using the active track on an upcoming video tour of the studio, discussing sound panels, paint, etc. I’ll be filming solo so it’ll allow be to be mobile and not worry about staying in frame as I walk around the office.
👍🏾🙏🏾
Nice video as always!! nice watch too lol
so disappointed we didn’t get to see the Atlas Orion with the RS3 footage which gives an idea about how Tyler must’ve felt when that error message pop’d up!
it’s ok brother, perhaps another time
Man the colors of this video are dope
The push button lock and sleep modes save an incredible amount of time and make the difference between a device that would sit in the closet and one that now comes on every shoot. I’ve shot a lot with the RS3 in the last 6 weeks, previously never been a gimbal shooter as I found it slowed me down too much. Shocked at how much I’m using it and stoked with the way it’s leveled me up creatively.
It’s also pretty quick to balance, takes me around 1 minute now.
Yet to really use the raven eye side of things much, feels like it overcomplicates things when I’m working solo.
Awesome video. Would have loved to see some Ronin M vs RS3 Pro footage. Also, this is just my opinion but the briefcase handle is rock solid for me and I never ever think about the safety of the gimbal.
If you think gimbals are not good your not experienced in how to use one. It’s always less is more with one. You also need a side handle wider grip to even or the movement, get the walk right and be very intentional about what your doing
could you controll the XH2S by cable with the gimbal?
Recording stage presentations for clients the tracking feature helps with this.
So I’ve used the active track on the RS 2 when I was running along side a subject and didn’t want to fall flat on my face and wreck the FX6 I had mounted to it. The other use case that comes to mind, was the time I had to again use the RS2 to orbit someone rather rapidly and had to keep them directly in the centre of the frame – which to me is also it’s downside, it allows you to lock to the centre of the frame, but doesn’t allow you to say, keep your subject on the right hand side of the screen in a specific third, it has to be the center, so it’s either that or shoot wider and crop, losing resolution.
So I shoot youth football ball and lately I’ve been playing with “mic’d” athletes and I’ve been trying to obtain the raven eye for my RS2. Following them around and even during the games I’d like to smoothly follow and hold focus on the speaker that has the microphones
U gotta make it look so easy, thx bro!
Did he watch Peter McKinnons short film using thr dji rc2, with active track it has a ton use cases in the film industry
