I don’t agree with the last point, Samsung’s A series isn’t comparable to Pixel’s A series. No matter how much samsung tries, their A series phones are always choppy. I am pretty sure Pixel 7A’s experience is more close to a flagship than A54.

Can you name the differences between my 6a and the 7a? 6a as low as $259 this afternoon after announcement for the 7a. My average trade in via Google was $135. For what? 90hz vs 60hz screen and +2w faster wireless charging? (*I already got a pair of the pixel buds w/my 6a) thanks I’ll wait

Well, they give you a bundle with buds A at this price, but if you don’t need it, you could pay for 7 with extra 100$ or wait for a sale

As low as $500, is this an advert for Google? It’s well overpriced, in fact, I’m in UK and it’s £449 with free earbuds and NOT selling! It’ll be 299 in a few weeks. It reportedly takes forever to charge, and with a tiny battery, you’ll notice. Even the Moto edge 30 neo looks a better deal. Sit this one out for a while

Pixel 7a pricing is a marketing trick. The price difference doesn’t justify the degraded features (screen, camera, battery charge, etc.)

I think it’s an terribly technology for stupid people as it’s ridiculously overpriced crap.
It got not user replaceable battery, it got no headset-jack, and it got no sd card slot. And all these are and will ever be very important for many reasons. Sucker enterprises like Google cannot tell me what I need!

If I’m looking to try Google after 4 years of Samsung S10 and 8 years of iPhones, should I get the 7 or 7a? I use it mostly for email/text & business tasks, photos, videos. No gaming or watching

I’d never buy it. Fisher Price builds higher quality products. I returned both my Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel 7 due to poor quality, extremely poor battery performance, WiFi/5G connectivity never displayed above 50% while all other devices in my home (Samsung, Apple, etc) consistently displayed 100% signal strength, and consistent heating of the Tensor G2. The heat was so significant that on multiple occassions bothv devices were entirely too hot to hold. Google can not continue to rely on a camera algorithm to peddle worthless devices that won’t last until it’s 3rd and final OS update. Absolute garbage.
