Does this phone have focus issue like other large sensor phones?
please gcam samples in fool reviw
First, 240Hz isn’t really 240Hz, but they put a black screen between each frame at 120Hz, which they’ve already done it with the AQUOS zero 2.
Second, they have a very poor reputation with its display. The one on the AQUOS zero 2 was a disaster, like burning issue, and the device had a very poor battery life thanks to its 3,120mAh battery. After all those issues, the device ended up being sold at like 2 or 300 bucks at Softbank.
Third, it has the 2nd gen ultra sonic fingerprint scanner from Qualcomm, meaning it has larger recognizing area, and you can even unlock with 2 fingerprints.
Fourth, bloatware is def a thing when it comes to buying phones from Japanese carriers. Don’t know about now, but they even put TikTok on the devices they sell at one point.
Fifth, Sharp is now owned by a Taiwanese company, Foxconn, and they sell their devises in Taiwan as well.
As Japanese, I can say Sharp does make impressive devices sometimes, but it’s mostly just on paper. I haven’t had used any, but as far as I can see from actual users complaining, it’s not as good as it looks.
A big, big, big LiKE for the novelty of this presentation. The first I see at this level, about this phone! Congratulations! Technically speaking, Sharp has enough assets to enter the top, but, as you said, the software part should not be neglected. Then this refresh rate of 240 Hz?!?!? To process such a thing means a high energy consumption. Even if it is adaptive, the processor and GPU always have something to do to result smooth images. I wonder if there really is something to justify this direction, especially since the human eye is almost insensitive to frequencies exceeding 60-70 Hz. The conclusion is clear, SHARP still can’t stand with the best on the photography side. I remember that Mi 11 Ultra was better from the start, with the first software version. Now Sharp is far, far behind the Mi 11 Ultra (I mentioned this phone because I consider it the best today in photography).
If you’re into photography just take real camera. Phone’s camera only good for social media

Are you going to do a full review later on if an update comes?

Headphone jack with these japanese phones is endgame
Wow sony Xperia not even a big Player in it’s own country, smh!
Hey, Ben! Nice video. Quick note, Docomo UI is on by default, but can be changed to the Aquos UI by changing the home launcher in settings. It’s got the swipe up for the app tray and is similar to stock android.
Another thing is the fingerprint area on screen is huge, you can even do two finger scanning to unlock for added security.
