you should’ve checked some gcam ports to see if any of those 5-10 apks may work in one way or another and then by compare it to others,see if it’s now beating other flagships but anyway thanks for the efforts

Sad to see Huawei/Leica partnership dissolution, but good to see a new product with the camera. Certainly hope that Sharp will release an update to their software stack and sharp their phone.

Sharp! Although I am not familiar with there Aquos series of smart phones. I am totally familiar with there products, my first Walkman and boom box stereo were Sharp! 😄😄

Sharp may have dropped the ball on camera software but Huawei will no doubt kill it whenever the P50 Pro is released. And they have the added benefit of the other focal lengths as well. Thanks Sharp for opening the door though. Phone photography is about to take another leap forward.

This is a really helpful review! I had heard rumours of this phone but so hard to find a decent review, unfortunately that software needs a lot of polish 🙁

Will you be doing a review of the meizu 18/18 pro as there is very few good english speaking reviews of that phone also?

What kind of panel is it? For mobile we see mostly LG and Samung panels (POLED and AMOLED). Do you know where this panel comes from? I’m asking this because Sharp was known for their display-technology. Both for TV’s as well as mobile panels. Is Sharp investing in OLED-tech now? Or did they just buy the panel and worked on the implementation to create something with these specs?
Anyway, really cool that you’re covering a Sharp phone. Btw, what monitor is that you’re editing on?
