Cool video. I am also looking at buying this TV because it offers the best bang for the buck. I can move into the true 4k resolution/color regime when that technology has come down in price. There have been some complaints out there that these Sharp TV’s start to break down early after a few months of use. Given that you published this review in June of last year I was wondering if you could give us an update on the reliability of the unit. Has it given you any problems since you purchased it?

I just got the tv with a sony 4k upscale player it actually works im getting a 2160p signal blurays look awesome.

I HAVE THE 65 INCH SHARP 960X PRO TV WHICH I THINK IS SAME TV ? BUT I WISH SHARP WOULD NOT HAVE SUCH A CONFUSING RANGE OF TVS THE TV IS INCREDABLE COLOUR IS FAR BETTER THAN 55 INCH SAMSUNG I HAD BEFORE AND ALL ROUND MUCH BETTER EXCELLENT PRODUCT BOUGHT IN THAILAND,.PROBLEM WITH SHARP IS THEIR LACK OF ADVERTIZING THEIR PRODUCTS UNLIKE SAMSUNG I THINK IF DID SAME AS SAMSUNG WOULD BE WORLD BEATER !

I have this TV and a Samsung UBD-K8500 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player. When I try to watch a 4K Blu Ray, I get a weird red, pixilated image. The sales rep told me this television would play 4K content. So, what’s the disconnect? I have the 4K HDMI cord as well.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I have the LC-60TQ15U with ps4 pro. it says it supports hdcp 2.2 but after connecting ps4 pro it says it does not support 2.2. how are u getting such high resolution
