Great review on the TV…I love that it has so many available options. I saw what you meant with the lag but an apple/fire tv or gaming device does fix that. Thanks for sharing!

Great review on the tv! I recently purchased the tv and I am impressed but with all the picture options I’m not sure what the best picture settings are. Do you have any recommendations? You mention when using the UHD feature that the tv no longer operates at 240 hz. When would you want to use this feature. Any input on picture settings would be greatly appreciated.

This is the most informative, no nonsense, and least irritating review I’ve seen on youtube. So many just either don’t say anything useful or go into the freaking scientific research that nobody is asking for. Thanks and thumbs up.

I did wonder about the UHD setting though. It sounded like you switch that option on and off? From what I understand, it upscales normal HD, as well as displaying the 4K in a downgraded resolution, so why would you ever switch that UHD option off?

What about the video codec? Can it take a 4K stream from Netflix? Have you tried 4K samples from YT?

Excellent review – thanks! – I am expecting delivery of the 70″ version and I am wondering if you have had a chance to try out the 3D capability yet? I know you have to buy the 3D glasses ($34 @ Amazon) so if it isn’t important to you, I understand.

Hey Tomas how are you my friend? i am right now in a big dilemma i am about to make the final decision on my new TV set, and i am between, Sony KDL70W850B 70-Inch 1080p 120Hz 3D Smart LED TV vs Sharp LC-70SQ15U 70-inch Aquos Q+ 1080p 240Hz 3D Smart LED TV and i compare side by side at best buy website but i was not able to decide because the lack of info on sony tv so if you can give me your opinion i will be glad to hear it, huge fun of call of duty player since 2004 love it, take care!

I just bought this tv at fry’s electronics .the best tv by far i looked at alot of tvs and this one has more bang for the buck.the picture is so amazing everything on this tv is amazing.

Im not sure how old this video is..Im looking at the LC-60TQ15U The T is different than the S in your video..My major concern is the lack of great streaming..Im cutting the cord..losing Directv at $250 a month have Roku’s and channel master DVR which does NOT connect through my AVR (big bummer) So streaming wont be a huge issue but audio outputs dont get much attention..I see there is RCA jacks and my AVR has RCA inputs but Im not sure of the quality of audio through RCA compared to HDMI..or whether my AVR will distiguish as it does now between Dolby and other signals…But good video…my son has a cheaper model 60″ aquos and the pic is stellar…soundbar makes it fine for his house.

Thanks for the review. Your review has made my decision to purchase this device. My parents have a Sharp Aquos 60″, but it’s about two years old and it still offers a great pic. Only thing I’m bummed out about is the sound. Looks like I’m gonna have to buy a sound system. Um babe….
