Sony have managed to create something i really want. Easily most advanced camera software out there with SD card support 🎉 may not be best auto camera but when it comes to manual noone comes close to Sony

When s23 ultra with same storage 1500 usd for 512gb option is even more expensive.

And iphone in 1700 usd for 512gb option.

Those are my 2 favorite phones, sadly the Asus is only compatible with T-Mobile and not Verizon

Android is the best but i think you should have shower off the variety by having a couple of foldables, budget phones and mid range devices on the table. Just to give an idea about real variety.

I don’t mind about short software update support, what want is the last software update is stable and no bugs that’s all so it can be use for longer years without any issue..

I like android phone because of variety of phones to buy too. For now I have good phone for camera and now I want a good phone for gaming at longer session without sacrifice my battery health I want to buy RedMagic 8 pro soon. iPhone? No.. no matter how good it processor is it will overheat and throttling because iphones has bad thermal efficiency, even last year android phone can surpass latest iphone in gaming.

Last things is I can do many thing with android OS that iOS can’t do.. only advance android users know this.

This could have easily been a 30 minute video if you dived into every feature that makes android great:
1. Device choice
2. Sideloading. 3rd party app stores.
3. Material You
4. Long life of phones because even after OS updates stop, even the newest apps run on 10 year old Android. Not so on iOS.
5. The ability to add features just by installing an app. Eg dynamic island, gestures, double tap to sleep, etc. No need to wait for an Android update
6. Massive customisability
7. Extra hardware like headphone jack, SD card slot, IR blaster etc
8. Usb C standard vs lightning crap
9. Total control over your device via rooting
10. Ability to unlock and install ROM’S
11. Security: it is a fact that there are fewer exploits for Amdroid than for iOS. So iOS is more likely to be compromised
12. Takeout: your data is not locked in google. You can easily export it. Whereas on iCloud it’s mostly locked in. All my wife’s Notes are still held hostage in iCloud after she switched to Android.

Because you can use new pipe, revanced, sink for Reddit… Side loading, and just being able to use the device as you want is the most important thing. To mention Hi-Fi audio codecs, The occasional headphone jack as we see with these two phones. Ton more variety. You can pick up an LG wing or the v60 with the dual screen case for 200 bucks.

Carl pei It’s right that small phones don’t sell at a huge scale but that’s really not the point. There’s enough people willing to buy them that they can still warrant a place in the universe. The idea that every single phone has to be between 6.5 and 6.8 in is kind of stupid.

You could even increase the margins on small phones. You can’t produce them at as much scale because of lower sales, I guarantee you there are enthusiasts that would be willing to pay $100 tax just because they’re so few small options. But of course you also have to factor in the smaller funds require less material and less shipping weight. Don’t think we’re asking for a small phone revolution, just two or three decent small flagships are released in a given year would be nice.

Plus come at the s23 is basically the same height and width as the ZenFone, it’s just wider. That sells reasonably well. It’s advertised as having a 6.1-in screen but that’s corner to corner so it’s really not that much bigger than a Zenfone

BTW Zenphone 10 is the same size as iPhone 14 Pro or s23, it’s not any smaller or “compact phone” as some market it.
Its screen is smaller, because it has bigger bezels.

Other phone companies that sell their phones for cheap don’t even try to give at least 1 os or security update.
And since some people are changing their phones every 2 years, the 2 years of os and security updates are good enough from asus and Sony.

It is a bummer more people don’t buy small, high end phones. The Zenfone 9 has been the best phone I’ve used. I’ve been saying that and basically shilling on almost every Zenfone 10 video, but I really do love it
