Sapiens is interesting, however, it got so overhyped people forgot it is just a theory. Great collection of info about types of humans though.
Whoa… Feather blades. Yeah, I’m yet to try that for my head shave. It’s daunting considering the thin skin and curves. Astra Greens work great for me. If you shopping for a great razor I highly recommend Tatara.
Nice vid.
You forgot water, Brian.
So happy I found this channel. My favourite by far, never stop!
I like the shoe horn, I drive alot, normally end up as the designated driver. Problem is, the shoes I want to wear are hard to drive in, so I keep a pair of driving mocs in the car. The shoe horn would be a handy item for the quick footwear swap.
I have also just got into clean shaving, I’m mid 40’s now and I have had a beard of some sort for 23 years, the longest measuring about 7 inches right down to a Jason Stratham-esq stubble a few times but on average, a full but neat beard that covered the face but I never had a clean shave in that time. mid last month, I reached my weight loss goal 12 stone 12 pounds, down from 17 stone about 4 years back (240 pounds down to 180 pounds), I wanted to see my thinner face, friends and family liked what they saw so I decided to keep it going for a while, my beard is like 25 – 30% grey now anyway and I have been told that I still have a baby face so the more youthful boyish look is something I’m willing to rock while I still have it. Been deciding on what razor to buy, been using the yellow disposable Bics, now I want something more traditional, stylish that won’t break the bank. The Merkur looks just about right for what I’m after. Many Thanks.
I love shoe horns. They are incredibly useful and make getting shoes on easy. I need to get a steamer sometime.
Just going off on a tangent but it was weird seeing the younger doctors take notes on their phones! I still need a notebook/pad and pen around me 😂 Not sure what it is like in the States though! – Han
I’ll definitely check out that Acqua di Selva fragrance. I’d love to see more fragrance content here. I’ve had my eye on getting Aramis New West and Guerlain Vetiver.
I’ve been collecting fieldnotes for a while now so it was cool to see you give them a shoutout.
super
This guy looks like Hunter Biden
Just bought that steamer from Amazon!
Thanks for the video. Looks like Acqua di Selva didn’t have much supply to handle all the
Parker Jotters are great everyday pens–they have royal warrants from the Queen and Prince of Wales (as well as the James Bond endorsement!). Great video and I, too, will look out for Acqua di Selva.
Hey Brian, I use a hand steamer as well (distilled water only) and I’m finding a few of my wool suits have a wet smell. Even after a dry clean. Any tips?
This is great Brian! Thanks for sharing! Merkur 34c paired with a Feather blade is perfection. Feather is my go to blade.
Have half of these items (pen, light, notebook, and razor) and agree that they are all great and relatively inexpensive. A good small shoe horn is one item that I need as it is definitely handy when out an about visiting people and having to remove and then put back on your shoes. A lot of people don’t have shoe horns at their home.
Parker jotter is pure perfection- cheap but at the same time looks so good and robust. Have like 4 jotters, in different colors and use them daily
Great Video, Brian. Just a couple weeks ago I splurged on a bottle of Lagerfeld Cologne from a Walgreens. It was 25% off and it scent reminded me of my teen years.
Gonna get one of those pens
Thanks for the tips Brian…you’re LEGEND 👍🏽
