We had super similar childhoods!!! Also girl I literally played littlest pet shops till I was 16🤣 my friend has so many and we’d pull all nighters playing with them. And i thought i was the only one who watched the show horse land!! I loved it growing up, even though I’m scared of horses🙃

I was never into to LPS or MLP (I think I wasn’t the hugest fan of animal toys) but omg Polly Pockets and Barbie were my jam.
I love this video (and how you shot it), and obviously I completely relate and this makes me MEGA sentimental

Happy birthday!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Oh my I remember the Webkinz, barely. I got one when they were all going on sale bc somehow they weren’t trendy anymore. I also had a few Barbies too, and the movies were fun! I feel like Barbie is sort of a thing like “your first doll that’s not a baby doll” but I didn’t like that they couldn’t stand up on their own so easily. And lol I also remember the animal squiggly bracelets. They were legit everywhere and if you went to a birthday party you could get them and they also had them in the prize box at school. My sister’s cat tried to eat one. We also had the snap bracelets banned at my school for a little while. For me I also remember the huge Jojo Siwa bows being a really big thing

My niece was born in 2003. She has the same childhood as you. My friends and I were hooked on Barbie, her friends and clothing. This was in the early 70’s. We had trunks with 2 to 4 dolls and their clothing. We played the game of life, operation and card games. I was obsessed with the colorful yo-yos. I loved to hop on my hopity hop. They were colorful and fun. My mom made me read the golden books and I hated it. I never read until 7th grade. We wore bell bottoms, short skirts and bell sleeves. We watched the Brady bunch and the partridge family as well as the Disney shows and cartoons. The only dolls we had were baby dolls. But I liked the rag doll my grandma made for me. I grew up in a nice suburb. So, I had fun there and it was pretty. Also, we had a built in pool and my parents took us to the zoo, carnival or whatever was around. We always went somewhere or out to eat at a restaurant.

My son is your age, but my daughter is 2 years younger. I remember so many of these things. My daughter was into Rainbow High, LPS, My Little Pony (but the big ones, not the ones you showed). My son was and still is a huge Percy Jackson fan. I read my kids the Magic Tree house, Harry Potter. Webkinz, ahh, good times. My son just got his degree in computer gaming and I think it’s because of Nintendo, both the Wii and the DS. You might have been too old for Dora and Little Einsteins, but those were really popular in my house. Good times.
